Willetta Greene Johnson, Ph. D., is a physicist, professional producer, Grammy award songwriter, and author. She received her classical piano training from Dr. Irene Rosenberg Grau. She received her degrees in physics from Stanford University (B. S.) and from the University of Chicago, specializing in theoretical statistical mechanics and surface spectroscopy. Dr. Greene Johnson is currently Senior Lecturer in the College of Arts and Sciences and a Master Teacher in physics and chemistry at Loyola University Chicago. A sought-after consultant, speaker, worship leader and clinician, Dr. Greene Johnson's expertise spans from encompassing the physical sciences and science education to reconciliation, worship, integrity and team-building to orchestration, branding, coaching, studio and live production. Her unique journey places her at the interesting intersection of science and faith, art and intellect, empathy versus economy, left brain versus right brain. Dr. Greene Johnson has received numerous awards in teaching excellence, community leadership and the music industry. In 2004, her song Saved was graced to be part of the Grammy-winning project, Live: This is Your House recorded by The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir Her works have been performed or premiered by the Chicago Sinfonietta Orchestra, the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, Old St. Patrick Catholic Church (Chicago), the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Fellowship MB Church, Mary Mary, and notable others. Dr. Greene-Johnson has been married for 30 years to Arnold Johnson Jr., an image stylist, colorist, and hair salon owner. They have one son who is currently pursuing a master's degree in political science.
