About the Author

Michelle Robinson's many award winning picture books are popular in homes, schools, and libraries all over the world. Michelle is either busy writing, performing at literature festivals, delivering school visits, or being mum. Nick East is the co-creator of the bestselling Toto the Ninja Cat series--currently being adapted for stage and screen--as well as the long-running and much-loved Goodnight books for Puffin. He writes and illustrates his own fiction for young readers, including the Agent Weasel animal superspy books and the new Squirrel Shady series, due for publication in 2026.

Alongside this, Nick continues to develop stories across children's fiction and picture books, with playful humor and a character-led approach.

Previously, Nick worked as a museum and exhibition designer, and now lives near York with his wife, two children, and their dog, Herbie.
