About the Author

Rooted Leaders founder, Beth Armstrong, is a Waco native and Baylor alumna. She continues to reside in Waco today with her husband of almost 18 years and has been blessed to raise their children Hunter (8) and Ella (3). Beth originally began her professional career in the field of education. Soon, she realized her passion was in teaching and serving others, however, it was not the correct profession for her. From there, she worked 14 years in the pharmaceutical sales industry where her love of leadership training and skills began to take root. It was during this time that she also began volunteering with the Junior League of Waco-an organization dedicated to the development of women- and another seed to her calling was planted. Over the past decade and a half, she has spent her time honing her leadership skills both in the professional and nonprofit worlds where she also served as the President of the Junior League of Waco and developed her in-depth knowledge of what it means to identify one's calling and purpose and how to practically walk in it. In 2017 with a calling to develop the full potential within EVERY woman, Beth launched Rooted Leaders and became the first leadership development company for women in Central Texas. Beth is humbled to have the opportunity to help other women find their calling and live the life God created them to lead through this company. As a mom of a little girl, she can think of no better legacy to leave her own daughter than a lifetime of serving other women.
