"Page-turning and poignant, with not a drop of phony sentiment or
overwriting. Grade: A" - Cleveland Plain Dealer on PAST CRIMES
"Hamilton's accomplished debut introduces Van Shaw, an Army ranger
who returns home to Seattle after 10 years... Hamilton details
Shaw's upbringing in sharply honed flashbacks and surrounds him
with a cast of intriguing characters on both sides of the law.
Readers will be eager to see more of this tough, clever hero." -
Publishers Weekly (starred review) on PAST CRIMES
" Hamilton renders the ample violent action effectively, but the
best parts of the story are the vignettes he intersperses depicting
Van and Elana's criminal exploits when they were 17. " - Publishers
Weekly on HARD COLD WINTER
"In his outstanding debut, Hamilton has created a tough and
intriguing character in Van Shaw, one that will appeal to fans of
Lee Child's Jack Reacher series." - Library Journal (starred
review) on PAST CRIMES
"Hamilton skillfully creates a well-oiled situation with a direct
writing style... brimming with action, conflict, and realistic and
compelling characters. Readers of the first book will be delighted
with the backstory, and aficionados of the genre will eat this one
up." - Library Journal (starred review) on HARD COLD WINTER
"The Seattle setting is wet and wild, and the action rings true,
even when it borders on James Bond outrageousness. It's a noirish
mystery, a caper in a conundrum, a buddy action tale, a bittersweet
romance, and a nail-biter of a thriller." - Kings River Life
Magazine on HARD COLD WINTER

the next wrong turn. Buckle in and hang on!" - Gregg Hurwitz, New
York Times bestselling author, on PAST CRIMES
