About the Author

The first author has an M.A. in International Relations from the Department of Government at New Mexico State University, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is an expert in non-linguistic and material culture metaphor. The second author is a Freshmen and Junior Historian at Aptos High School, in Aptos California.
