"The text is comprehensive, up to date, logically organized, and
sometimes even entertaining - no small feat for a writing guide.
The exercises are very good, and the section on improving style is
especially useful."
--Matte Robinson, St. Thomas University
"This book is fully comprehensive and can serve as the sole
required text in a composition/essay-writing course. The heavy use
of Canadian examples in the reader section is highly welcome."
--James Christian Parsons, University of Ottawa
