Promotional Information

Hooked on Crochet is the first learn-to-crochet book to feature fashion-led projects. The designs are easy enough for a beginner, but stylish enough for crocheters of all levels to want to pick up their hooks!

About the Author

Ruth Maddock studied fashion at Epsom Art School - now the University of the Creative Arts - and eventually found her niche working as a hand knit, machine knit and crochet designer. Ruth is now an internationally published author, an experienced teacher of pattern cutting and garment construction, and a regular contributor to all the major UK knit and crochet magazines. She also designs for several UK yarn spinners, and in 2011 opened her own local yarn store in Bromyard, Herefordshire, where she runs regular workshops on crochet, knitting and sewing.

Reviews

This bright book will certainly catch your eye when you’re looking for your next crochet masterclass. Hooked on Crochet promises buckets of step-by-steps for more methodical learners and clearly teaches every stitch, each with its very own project to practice with.
