Reviews

* "Ten words may be all it takes to convince some young children to try reading. . . . Despite its limited vocabulary, Meisel's simple story is surprisingly satisfying. New readers will fill in the missing details from clues in the uncluttered illustrations, several spreads of which are completely wordless. . . . The repeated sentence structure helps build confidence and fosters reading fluency. Another successful addition to the I Like to Read series: 'I see a winner!'"—Kirkus Reviews, Starred Review

"Another great addition to the series by Meisel (See Me Run and See Me Dig), again featuring the always-popular antics of a dog. . . . Spreads full of bright colors and cartoonish illustrations clearly portray the dog’s feelings through his actions and expressions. . . . A great choice for early readers that will have wide appeal and could be read individually or with a group. Recommended for general purchase."—School Library Journal
