About the Author

Mark Grayson, Cisco Distinguished Consulting Engineer, leads Cisco's mobile architecture strategy. He has 15+ years of wireless experience, and holds 50+ patents in mobile communications. Kevin Shatzkamer, Cisco Consulting Systems Architect, is responsible for long-term strategy and architectural evolution of mobile wireless networks. His areas of expertise include GSM/UMTS, CDMA, packet gateways, security, video, QoS, and end-to-end design theory. Scott Wainner, Cisco Distinguished Systems Engineer, consults with major US service providers and enterprises, and led the architectural development of next-generation IP/MPLS and VPN solutions. He was Qwest's Director of Product Development.
