About the Author

A native of Los Angeles, Paula L. Woods runs -- with her husband -- the book packaging firm Livre Noir, and has co-edited several books. This is her first novel. Fran L. Washington is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a professional actress, she has appeared in more than 150 stage productions. Her voice can be heard on several audiobooks, including Far From the Tree, The Ditchdigger's Daughter, and Inner City Blues.
