Reviews

"Kerby brings a wealth of experience to the topic. ... Useful for those newly responsible for school library collections and on the verge of panic. The informal tone would go far to calm someone intimidated by the responsibilities of developing and managing a collection." — Technicalities

"The second edition of a classic first published in 2006 is updayted to reflect current developments in schoold library collections. While the succinct and conversational tone and style are unchanged, the content now reflects the AASL National School Library Standards for Learners, School Librarians, and School Libraries... This step-by-step guide is an excellent resource both for those new to the profession and for busy veterans." - Booklist
