About the Author

Séamas Mac Annaidh is one of the world’s leading authorities on Irish History. He has written numerous historical works, novels, short stories and contributed to many books, magazines, and television programmes. He is Arts Editor with the Belfast newspaper Lá. Previously, he was a presenter/producer with BBC Northern Ireland and Writer-in-Residence at Queen’s University, Belfast.
