Steve Duffy works as a full-time journalist, starting at the South Wales Echo and for the last 25 years at BBC Wales. He was feature writer of the year in 2017 in the Wales Media Awards. He is a member of Grangetown Local History Society, with an interest particularly in Victorian and medieval history and has curated the society's online World War One project.
