About the Author

A medical writer by profession, Peter has also written three other books on Jaguars, reflecting his passion for the Coventry marque. He has owned a long line of Jaguars and Daimlers and currently drives or restores a 1966 E-type, a rare 1976 Series 2 Daimler Double Six Coupe, a 1985 Series 3 Daimler Double Six HE, and - his favourite - a 1984 XJ-S Banham 5-speed convertible. Having bought and sold other XJ-S cars in far from pristine condition, Peter knows the things to look out for and passes on his hard-earned knowledge in this book.
