About the Author

My martial arts training began at 15 years old, along with three other students in 1974 and 1975 as part of a community service program in NYC. My training continued privately at age 19 in Brooklyn NY from 1978 to 1980. I opened a martial arts school in Queens, NY, from 1996 to 1997; and briefly taught basic Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do.
