About the Author

Jacqui Shepherd inherited her talent for storytelling from her father and first began creating her own stories to amuse her four children, who are very close together in age. She currently resides in South Africa.

A well written, lovely story of a lonely little giraffe that through perseverance finds friends. While the lesson of the story is that 'one should never give up', it also encourages children to seek friends who embrace them, and to keep looking until they finds those friends. An important lesson for adults and children alike. a Fun story that takes the reader along on Jojo's journey to find a friend, and it has a very important moral about never giving up.
