'Beautifully, imaginatively written... it is wonderful to have a
new Christmas nativity story to share with children.'
-- Kindling
'This is the most heart-warming version of the Christmas story I
have read in a while. It is written in a beautiful style, ideal for
either reading aloud, or quietly and independently. The endearing
illustrations draw the reader into various atmospheric scenes and
surroundings that you imagine yourself being a part of, wanting to
dive in and live the story for real yourself.'
-- Early Years Educator
'Bernadette Watts' illustrations show her experience over many
years, especially with folk tales in many languages, and this
charming story, starting with a gift to be given and ending with a
gift received, is just right for this time of year.'
