About the Author

Serge Roetheli has lived a life many have dreamed of and few will ever accomplish. He is a former Olympic boxer and Swiss mountain guide.In the mid 1990's, he took up long-distance running. His feats include the America's Challenge, running the Grand Canyon in a day, and traversing all 12 passes of the Swiss Alps. Nicole accompanied Serge as they traveled the world together, following him on a scooter throughout the journey.
