About the Author

Kaye Dobbie has been writing professionally ever since she won the Big River short story contest at the age of 18. Her career has undergone many changes, including Australian historical fiction under the name Lilly Sommers, to romance written as Sara Bennett and published in the US and Australia. Her books have been translated into many languages. She is currently writing under her ‘proper’ name, Kaye Dobbie, and is published by Harlequin (Mira) Australia and Weltbild in Germany. Alice Batt is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre), where she was the grateful recipient the Lionel Gell Foundation Scholarship. Her most recent performing credits include the title roles in both Cinderella and Snow White, Anna in Spring Awakening, You Will Be Found and Ned: A New Australian Musical In Concert, alongside numerous radio and television campaigns. Alice trained full time at Spectrum Dance, having trained from a young age at the National Theatre Ballet School.
