Barry Gustafson ONZM, former Professor of Politics at the University of Auckland, is the author of a number of books including histories of the Labour and National Parties and highly acclaimed biographies of Savage and Muldoon. The latter, His Way: A Biography of Robert Muldoon (AUP), won the ARANZ Ian Wards Prize.
