Vicki Square is the author of Knit Kimono, Folk Bags, Folk Hats, and the best-selling The Knitter's Companion. Vicki has taught knitting for more than ten years, as well as painting and drawing at Colorado State University. She lives in Fort Collins, Colorado.
To quote the author, this book is "For all who knit for beauty, and for those who appreciate it." It's a lovely sentiment that rings true as you turn the pages. A follow-up to 1997's Knit Kimono, it again includes designs inspired by Japanese traditions. The lovely shapes, textures and finishes are positively stunning, creating some very wearable designs that are bound to inspire you. The book comes with an hour-long instructional DVD.-Knit Today
