About the Author

Ann Pettifor is an economist who specializes in finance and sovereign debt. She is the director of Policy Research in Macroeconomics, a researcher at the University of London, and a member of the New Economics Foundation. Her books include Real World Economic Outlook and The Coming First World Debt Crisis, and she coauthored The Green New Deal and The Economic Consequences of Mr. Osborne.
