Peter Carini is an English teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area and a former sports reporter for newspapers, magazines and radio. He is the author of Encroaching Mirror and several short stories such as "Aluminum Gold" and "Batteries on a Bus". He and his wife Sara have six children and one grandchild.
