Beverly Burros Yokley was born in Akron, Ohio on March 2, 1947 to the late Tom and Sarah (Woods) Burros. She was united in marriage to Elder Charles S. Yokley on January 5, 1974 - August 16, 2017(deceased); and to this union four children were born: Tabitha Dean (P. Jeremiah) Satterfield, Dr. Delight Bena Yokley, PhD., David Israel (Laura) Newberry-Yokley and Charles Stanley (Shauntina) Yokley, II. She lived and worked in Akron, Springfield and Cleveland, OH, Columbia, TN and now resides in Dickson, TN. She attended: - Cedarville Baptist College; September 11, 1978 - March 16, 1979 - Moody Bible Institute; January - May 1994 - Ashland Theological Seminary; September 1997 - May 1998 - Wright State University; graduate with BS in Business Administration in June 1989 Evangelist Beverly Yokley has been a member of The Original Church of God - Sanctified Church since 1968 and an Ordained Minister since 1974. Evangelist Yokley has over 40 years of services. Her life verse is Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." Lights Out Midnight sermon was given to her by the Lord while in the hospital after being delivered from Transverse Myelitis (a disorder caused by inflammation of the spinal cord). Other sermons were included as the Lord gave them. Laura Newberry-Yokley has always been a spiritual sojourner and writer. She was born in Boulder, Colorado in 1980 earned a Master of Arts in Women's Studies in Religion from Claremont Graduate University. Laura Newberry-Yokley is a religious sojourner and cultural advocate. She helps women bring their stories to light.
