Nolan Turner also pens under the pseudo name of Blacklife. Nolan Turner is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He published his first book, Blackbook, in 2008 and his second book, Pure Love, in 2013. Nolan's goal with his poetry is to ensure there is a mixture of poems for everyone. Nolan wants young people to read his work and see that he was once a child with a dream, a vision that overcame obstacles, worked hard to make his dream come true. NEVER GIVE UP!
