About the Author

Melinda Melton Crow taught first grade and reading intervention for 31 years and retired from teaching in 2024. She is passionate about teaching children to read and writing books for children to enjoy. Melinda is married and has two grown boys. She loves spending time with her five grandchildren, gardening, walking her dogs, and reading.
