About the Author

Glen Martin was a reporter for a major metropolitan newspaper for almost 20 years. In the course of his career he has covered crime, war, science, environment, natural resources, food and wine. He has written for more than fifty magazines and websites and is the author of three nonfiction books, most recently Game Changer: Animal Rights and the Fate of Africa's Wildlife (University of California Press, 2012). He lives in northern California with his family.
