"Maple decides to explore on her own and find out once and for all if she is with the correct pack. . . . Engaging." -- Booklist
"Maple is the Parker family dog, but outsiders often mistake the husky for a wolf. Eventually even Maple begins to wonder . . . A funny little tale about belonging, regardless of the perception of outsiders . . . Youngsters will giggle at Maple's misplaced adventure." -- Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books
