About the Author

Ian A. Wright was born into a family of journalists, photographers, and English professors who cultivated his passion for writing and love of the written word. Ian's writing has appeared in an ever-growing number of online publications. While Ian's primary focus is on dramatic fiction, Long Story Short... is his innovative approach to creative non-fiction. His style is distinct in its brevity and marked by an emotional intensity. His experiences over the years and around the country have shaped his passion for personal relationships and the connections of love and friendship which shape his enduring optimism - all of which is evident in his writing. Ian was raised Catholic and attended both Catholic school and a Jesuit university in the state of Washington. Much of what has shaped Ian's personality was born through the time he spent travelling the country - hitchhiking for a majority of it and driving when he could - as well as nearly two years of homelessness. He has since made a life with a love he found at the end of that journey. Along with his endeavors in story-telling, Ian A. Wright also works in web design and video production to which he brings a similar passion and drive.
