Manfred Griehl, born in 1952, has numerous publications on aviation. His focus is the transition from piston engine to jet propulsion and in technology and service history of German military aircraft. His previously published books include Focke-Wulf Fw 190 / Ta 152, Heinkel He 111 and Junkers Ju 87 'Stuka'.
"Griehl's painstaking research included assembling an amazing array
of photographs showing a remarkable range of innovative aircraft
dreamed up by German engineers. For a reader, it's interesting to
imagine how the course of WWII might have changed, if some of these
secret weapons had ever been turned loose against the Allies."--Toy
Solder & Model Figure
"Griehl returns here on the many experimental programs of the Luftwaffe with this small catalogue of photos."--Cocardes, December 2016/January 2017
