Jill Smart was a teacher for 28 years. She taught children in Michigan, Iowa and Kansas. She has instructed in fields of Secondary Science and Health for the majority of her career as a teacher. A life-long and driven learner herself, she earned a Masters of Art in Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2012 from Spring Arbor University. Compassionate and goal-oriented, Jill believes anything is achievable if you put forth effort and recognize the consequences of your actions. You are responsible for your destiny! As an author and a teacher, it is her mission to convey this message to young minds.In addition to education, Jill is also passionate about helping others, nature and random acts of kindness. She has been married to her best friend Don, for 30 years. The couple has two daughters and recently became grandparents.
