About the Author

Cate Shearwater lives in Wiltshire with her husband and two children. She was gloriously bad at gymnastics when she was younger but luckily the cartwheels skipped a generation and Somersaults and Dreams was written for Cate's gymnastic fantastic daughter, Elsie, and all her fabulous squad mates at Baskerville's Gym Club.
