About the Author

Matthew Solomon, "The Coach for the Modern Soul," is also an author, award-winning filmmaker and father of three. Born and raised in the melting pot that is Los Angeles, he developed an unshakable stand for equal rights which is represented in his books and movies. His latest book, "Man School: Relating with Women in the #MeToo Era," was born out of a need for more effective communication and awareness on the subject. As the movement emerged, and women found their voices, Matthew observed that men were largely caught off-guard and unsure how to accept and support the healing that has needed to occur. This book provides a solid foundation and tools for that conversation. Always seeking to deepen and expand his awareness, Matthew has spent most of his adult life studying effective communication, relationships, Eastern philosophies, Kabbalah, martial arts, Tantra, yoga and more. After teaching Kenpo Karate for 10 years, and coaching one of the most rigorous leadership training and development programs in the world, he was inspired to share his gifts and knowledge publicly. Matthew founded "Coach with Matthew Solomon" in the summer of 2017, and has continued to coach individuals, couples and deliver group programs designed to empower and inspire everyone to live happy, healthy and joy-filled lives. His commitment is that everyone, every single person, has the experience of feeling heard, loved and understood. Matthew writes the weekly column "Too Sensitive" for "The Good Men Project," has been a guest on the KTLA Morning News in Los Angeles and can be reached at: www.CoachwithMatthewSolomon.com

Reviews

"Read this book and understand, appreciate and change - Matthew Solomon is a guru - and a most welcome one!" --Grady Harp, San Francisco Review of Books "I love 'Man School!' We need more conscious men like Matthew Solomon involved in this conversation!" --Dr. Erin Fall Haskell, Doctor of Divnity and New Thought Leader"This book is perfectly timed and, no doubt, is the blueprint for men to know how to navigate the relationship waters in the #metoo #timesup era!" --Dr. Nancy Sutton Pierce, Hollistic Clinical Sexologist"Matthew takes on the emotional, heavy lifting for women in a way that doesn't make men wrong." --Sofiya Alexandra, Co-Host of the Reality Bytes Podcast"In his concise account of his own personal relationship experience, Matthew Solomon offers a truly genuine and sincere guide for men to better understand themselves and their role in relation to women, and how men can create a space for women to be heard, understood, and feel safe. In the era of the #metoo movement, Matthew sheds light on how we got here, and where to go next. This is an important book for the modern man, and for creating harmonious relationships with women." --Jordan Ancel, Filmmaker and Photographer"This is the book that the world needs right now!! Insightful, informative and important, MAN SCHOOL is an essential book for every man (and woman) in the wake of the long-awaited #metoo movement. It celebrates the reality that women no longer need to be afraid to speak up and it gives men a sort of "guide" through the miasma of a sexist culture that is ready for positive change and personal growth. Matthew Solomon addresses many of the issues facing both men and women in the wake of this desperate need for change. Thank you Matthew for this book and for helping us take a step in the right direction towards the healing process for women who have been without a voice for way too long." --Michael Lanoue, Event Producer"Matthew is genuine and it shines through in his writing. This book is written from a man to other men, and it is simple and easily digested. However, the points he's presenting and paring down for readers are fundamental strategies for men who are looking to improve how they relate to women. This is a worthwhile read. Thank you, Matthew, for your good work in the world!" --Sarah M. Reinholt, Healer and Teacher"AMAZING !!!!! Wish I could give this book 10 stars. Men and woman need to understand the psychology of one another; what is ok and not to do to a woman . What a woman should and shouldn't tolerate from men. This book hit it! Great read, perfect for a teen as well. A true wake up call on how us women should be related to." --Jasmine Aten, Owner, Mystic at the Crossroads
