Ale Capus was born in France in 1961. He is a French-Swiss novelist who writes in German. He studied History, Philosopy and Anthropology at Basel University before embarking on a career in journalism. He published his first novel Munzinger PaschaA" in 1997, and has so far published ten books.

Alex Capus is a French-Swiss novelist who writes in German. His works of fiction and non-fiction that have been translated into English include Sailing by Starlight (2008), Leon and Louise (2012) Almost Like Spring (2013) and Skidoo (2014).
