About the Author

Jean Stone BA (OU) Grad.dip.Conservation(A A) FRSA wrote on Mavis Batey and received an MA(Biography). She is author of several books and has lectured widely. Winner of a National Garden Design Competition her garden was built at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and was awarded a Silver Flora Medal.
