About the Author

Kimberly Outlaw is a licensed clinical social worker associate and licensed clinical addictions specialist associate in North Carolina, providing individual therapy to patients between the ages 12-59 with a specialization on youth and collegiate athletes. She is also the educational chair for the Alliance of Social Worker's In Sport Certificate Program. Dr. Outlaw is committed to empowering her clients with the tools, training, and knowledge they need to perform optimally day in and day out. Mary S. Jackson is a professor in the School of Social Work at East Carolina University.
