About the Author

Anna J. Wise is a Southern fiction writer born in Memphis, Tennessee. Growing up with a mentally disabled brother, Anna was inspired to write about those who are sometimes viewed as damaged or impaired. The ungifted, and the untalented. The sometimes quirky misfits. The ones who live out their lives like extras in a movie. Always in the background, always unnoticed. Anna's goal is to give these individuals a voice. And where better to do that than as colorful characters in her book, Mercy Me.
