Reviews

Malhotra has given a new dimension to psychotherapy by creating new metaphors in everyday life which each individual can easily relate to in a most effective way. . . . The book has a potential to be used as a bibliotherapy self-help book or as a tool for clinicians to effectively influence their client's behavior. This book is written with great experience and wisdom.
-- Savita Malhotra, MD, PhD, FAMS, professor and head of the Department of Psychiatry, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India
Malhotra demonstrates an uncanny knack for crafting metaphors which open doors and resonate with the soul. More accessible and powerful than traditional analytic interpretation, they are infused subtly with the timeless wisdom and spirit of his Indian heritage.
-- Peter Bolo, MD, chairman of the Department of Psychiatry, Overlook Medical Center, Summit, New Jersey
This book will help make psychotherapists out of lay people who can then aid themselves, their family members, friends, and colleagues. I recommend it highly to clinicians, trainees, and indeed anyone interested in learning about everyday human behavior.
-- Dilip V. Jeste M.D, MD, distinguished professor of psychiatry and neurosciences, University of California, San Diego, and former president of the American Psychiatric Association
