About the Author

Tasha Fuller has never been one to accept "NO" for an answer, and when it came to writing and publishing her own children's books, "NO" wasn't even an option. It wasn't an option because when she became a mother it was painfully obvious that the inventory and the accessibility of children's books that featured children of color were slim to none. So, doing what she always does when an opportunity presents itself she took her creativity, business background, everyday life experiences as a stay a home mom and her "A-Type" personality and filled a void. She started writing children's books that featured her children and everyone could relate to her stories. Tasha married her imagination and passion for storytelling to fulfill a much needed niche in the marketplace. With the tremendous success of her first three titles "It's Bath Time Baby", "Little Freddie's In a Zone" and "Mommy, I Want to be a Princess", the anticipation of her fourth title "Mommy, I Want to Dance", drove pre-orders, surpassing her previous years books' pre-orders combined, superseding even Tasha's own expectations. Sharing her work with schools and literacy programs across the country, Tasha's stories have had an immediate impact on students, teachers and parents alike. Her interactive reading and writing workshops allow audiences to become a part of the process and explore the possibility of creating their own stories. "There's just something about seeing a kid's face when they can see themselves on the cover of a book or throughout its pages. The feeling is truly indescribable and I believe the impact is immeasurable." Tasha commented. Motivated by the overwhelming support and demand from her fan base, Tasha plans to continue writing and helping others achieve their dreams of becoming an author as a Self-Publishing Coach. Tasha is currently working on her first graphic novel chapter book to broaden her audience and transition her younger readers as they grow and develop. Tasha continues to be inspired by her adventurous and entertaining children, Aukema, Freddie (III) and Amira, as they grow and develop. Tasha, her husband Freddie (II) and children reside in Virginia.
