About the Author

cz Blake A. Hoena grew up in central Wisconsin, where he wrote stories about robots conquering the moon and trolls lumbering around the woods behind his parents house. He now lives in Minnesota and enjoys writing about fun things like history, space aliens, and superheroes. Blake has written more than fifty chapter books and dozens of graphic novels for children. Luke Flowers is an illuminator of the imagination from Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he lives with his wife and three kids. When he is not illustrating and writing children's books in his cozy creative cave, he finds deep inspiration in strumming on his guitar or banjo, adventures with his family, and savoring a unique blend of music, movies, coffee and books ... lots and lots of books. Mark Oblinger is an award-winning songwriter, composer, producer, and performer. He cowrote and produced the Grammy-nominated children's jazz symphony JumpinJazz Kids: A Swinging Jungle Tale and has won five Heartland Emmy Awards for his work as a composer/producer for the PBS children's show The Big Green Rabbit and the short films Yesterday's Zoo and The Sea I See.
