Murder in the Vineyard is McGuinness' third Cedar Jace mystery. No Outlet was published as a serial in her Speak Eazy Digest Magazine from 1993 - 1994. Murder in St. Michaels, released last year, is available in print and on Kindle. "Writing mysteries is my favorite. I wrote my first when I was six," she says as she launches her 32nd book in 33 years. "It's about telling stories about the human condition, and teaching a little history along the way," she smiles. "My work has blessed me with an abundance of southwestern Pennsylvania legends. It is up to me to find creative, fun ways to pass them on. Everyone loves a good, clean murder." McGuinness refers to her mystery writing style as "cozy, not gory." Her author page on Amazon now offers 32 books including mysteries, history, early auto racing, Ohiopyle area tourism, hauntings, cooking and childrens' books.
