About the Author

M. T. Edvardsson is an author and teacher from Trelleborg, Sweden. He is the author of multiple novels and books for young readers in Sweden. A Nearly Normal Family is his first novel published in the United States. He lives with his family in Löddeköpinge, Sweden. Richard Armitage is an English actor and author who’s first leading role was in the BBC’s North & South. He best known for his role as dwarf king Thorin Oakenshield in Peter Jackson's film trilogy adaptation of The Hobbit, which brought him international recognition. He is a prolific audiobook narrator with credits such as The River’s Edge by Joy Ellis and Fiona McIntosh’s By By Baby, as well as author of bestselling thriller Geneva. A smooth, authoritative voice with classic delivery. Emily Watson is known for film roles such as the Queen in A Royal Night Out, Beryl Wilde in The Theory of Everything and Rosa Hubermann in The Book Thief. She was awarded a BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress for her role in Appropriate Adult. Georgia Maguire is a LAMDA-trained British actress working extensively in theatre, film and TV. Her TV credits include Patrick Melrose, Modern Horror Stories, The Stand-Up Sketch Show, Theresa vs Boris, The Halcyon, Birds of a Feather and Doctors, among many others. She has appeared in a number of films, including Love Me Till Monday, Captain Webb and Razors. Theatre includes The Dover Road, Laburnum Grove, Hay Fever and As You Like It. She narrates a rich and varied range of audiobooks and was nominated for a 2018 Audie Award for her work on The Breakdown. Rachel Willson-Broyles became interested in Sweden and the Swedish language at an early age. She majored in Scandinavian Studies at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, and received her BA there in 2002. She started translating while a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she received a Ph.D. in Scandinavian Studies in 2013. Rachel lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
