‘It looks so cool. I can’t wait to devour it.’ — Jack White, The White Stripes ‘Goody tells detailed stories about each record and artist, from the Chills to Tall Dwarfs to the Bats, and unearths a sparkling wealth of photos and ephemera, building a rich document of how exciting and resourceful this scene was.’ — Marc Masters, Pitchfork ‘Clocking in at over 400 pages, this large format, richly illustrated, meticulously researched (a real labour of love with a lot of care and attention to detail; it took Goody 10 years!) and lavishly produced tome is a headspinning thing of beauty.’ — Kiran Dass
