About the Author

I-Ping Wan received her PhD in Linguistics from the Department of Linguistics, as well as a PhD Certificate from the Centre for Cognitive Science, of the State University of New York at Buffalo. She taught Chinese and linguistics at Buffalo before returning to teach English at the National Dong Hua University in Taiwan. Since 2000, I-Ping has been teaching at the Graduate Institute of Linguistics of the National Chengchi University in Taipei. She finished writing "New York State Route 425" while working as a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University in 2007. Established in Melbourne in 2012, eBook Dynasty is an Australian publisher of digital and print books in English and Chinese languages. We assist emerging and established English-language authors, literary agents and publishers to translate, publish and promote their titles to the Chinese World, while helping Chinese-language writers promote their writings to the English World. In December 2015, eBook Dynasty received the Victorian Multicultural Award for Excellence - Victorian Multicultural Marketing Award. In the words of the Victorian Multicultural Commission, this award recognises "a business that uses a multilingual workforce and innovative marketing and communication strategies to engage multicultural audiences and who use their brand or reputation to promote the benefits of cultural diversity".
