About the Author

Graham Stewart has travelled New Zealand over many years, first as a newspaper and magazine photojournalist in the 1950s. His career has been in newspapers, magazines, books, photography, design and publishing. He is the author of 15 books including The End of the Penny Section, The Tangiwai Disaster - a Christmas Eve Tragedy, Auckland Before the Harbour Bridge and Wellington - Portrait of a Region.
