Michael G. LaFosse has been an origami artist for decades, and is considered a leading authority and master of the art. An avid teacher, LaFosse co-founded the Origamido Studio, a learning center and design studio dedicated to the art of origami, and the only place in the world specializing in hand papermaking for the origami artist. LaFosse co-curated Origami Now!, a wildly popular, year-long exhibition at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts. He was also prominently featured in the recent, Peabody Award-winning film, Between the Folds, by Vanessa Gould.
"These are great projects for beginners to start with and the kids
were able to follow the directions and make these completely on
their own...If you have a child who loves the jungle or
creepy-crawlies, then they'll love this kit!"
"While the instructions are easy to follow, there is a slight learning curve that evens out after creating more and different origami objects. And in case you mess up, there's plenty of paper -- over ninety charming sheets in every kit, tying into each theme." --Asian Fortune News
