Ottoline and Mr Munroe go on a secret city safari in the fourth book in the award-winning Ottoline series, from Children's Laureate, Chris Riddell.
Chris Riddell, the 2015-2017 UK Children's Laureate, is an accomplished artist and the political cartoonist for the Observer. He has enjoyed great acclaim for his books for children. His books have won a number of major prizes, including the 2001 and 2004 CILIP Kate Greenaway Medals. Goth Girl and the Ghost of a Mouse won the Costa Children's Book Award 2013. His previous work for Macmillan includes the bestselling Ottoline books, The Emperor of Absurdia, and, with Paul Stewart, Muddle Earth and the Scavenger series. Chris lives in Brighton with his family.
This most recent instalment features plenty of illustrations, a
steampunk aesthetic and great mystery. These books were designed
originally for slightly older children to read themselves but my
daughter and I devoured it over three nights.

Chris Riddell’s illustrations are as dazzling as ever; it’s worth

to look out for the myriad little details. Ottoline is a delight
for readers of all ages.
