Biography Shani Oates (England, UK) Shani Oates, a devoted practitioner of 'Mysteries' proper, fulfils her Path of Wyrd within the County of Derbyshire (UK) where, true to those tenets intrinsic to her work, she is fully engaged as a mystic, a pilgrim, author and artist. Though formerly a professional photographer, her life-long studies and research of theology, philosophy and anthropology eventually coalesced, becoming concrete in her status as the Maid of the Clan of Tubal Cain (see www.clanoftubalcain.org.uk.) Her published works are included within Genuine Witchcraft is Revealed by John of Monmouth [ Capal Bann]: 'The Wanton Green' by various authors [ Mandrake of Oxford]; 'Hecate: Her Sacred Fires' by various authors [Avalonia Press] in addition to many articles appearing in various popular pagan, folklore and occult publications for over a decade. The second 2011 edition of Abraxas Occult Journal features her most recent contribution on the Mysteries. Her debut book 'Tubelo's Green Fire' was launched through Mandrake of Oxford in April 2010, followed by 'The Arcane Veil' in 2011 and Volume 1 of 'The Star Crossed Serpent' in January 2012 & Volume II in June "2012. She is currently working on the third volume that explores and explains further the deeper aspects and histories of her Craft. She has also recently self- published 'The People of Goda' on Create Space.
