About the Author

Jenny Dodd believes that children do care about their birthday parties and want them to be a success, as well as wanting their guests to feel special. It is for this reason that she always endeavoured to create memorable occasions for her children on their birthdays. Her efforts have left an impression on her two daughters, as they in turn have continued the tradition for their children, spending many happy moments in Jenny's kitchen creating birthday party treats for what surely must be the most important day of a child's year.
