About the Author

Barbara R. Metzler graduated from the University of Southern California. As an entrepreneur, she has started five companies including a multimillion dollar corporation, The Farmer's Wife. In the 1980's, it was one of the country's leading fruit by-product companies selling fruits at farmer's markets as well as to larger companies. Ms. Metzler is active in her church and with many local and national nonprofit boards. Residing in San Diego, she enjoys spending time with her grown children and husband of thirty years.
